Step inside The Gin Library, home to one of the world’s largest gin collections, where more than 2,500 bottles from 80 countries line the shelves.

This hidden gem is a paradise for gin lovers, where every bottle tells a story. Discover rare finds from around the world alongside our in-house gin range, Ghosts of The Ocean, inspired by the flavours of the Azores.

Choosing just one gin can be difficult, so our Gin Flight experience allows you to explore three different gin & tonics from our Ghosts of The Ocean range, including special editions exclusively available at The Gin Library.

One of our Gin Librarians will introduce each gin, explain its flavour profile and botanicals, and help guide your selections to suit your taste.

Take time to relax, capture photos and videos, and enjoy one of São Miguel’s most unique locations. Additional gins from the collection are available for €15 per drink.

On fine days, the library doors open onto outdoor seating, where you can sip your gin & tonic while watching the sun set over green hills, with the Atlantic Ocean beyond.

Every pour supports marine conservation through a donation to the Ocean Azores Foundation.

Strictly adults only. Children under 16 and babies are not permitted anywhere on site, including outdoor areas.
